We are encouraging our young people to use creative ways to express how they feel at the moment during this unprecendented time. Here is a short poem that one young person has shared with us:
Look at us in a world full of chaos.
The streets mostly empty and alone.
People risking their lives everyday to save others they don’t even know.
I cant believe this is happening,
it all just doesn’t seem real.
Now I don’t even know if the world will ever heal.
This will teach us not to take things for granted,
like an important thing called life,
and the people who risked their lives will be remembered as our knights.
