TACT has signed an open letter to the Home Office, urging them to meet their legal obligations towards vulnerable unaccompanied children seeking asylum, and to stop the unacceptable practice of placing them in hotels.

TACT CEO, Andy Elvin, said: “TACT are proud to be signatories to this letter alongside Love142, Children England, Become, NCB, The Children’s Society and many others. In putting our name to this open letter, we as a group of organisations show our support for, and commitment to, our UK child protection and safeguarding system of law and to the rights of children, all children, as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.”
