TACT Cymru partners with The Baxter Project

Wales leading fostering charity TACT Cymru, is delighted to be part of a new partnership with The Baxter Project which is a therapeutic animal-assisted early intervention programme for children and young people, facilitated by the Welsh social enterprise Therapeutic Activities Group CIC (TA).

David O’Driscoll and a four-legged member of his team from the TA Group met with TACT Cymru’s Manager Mike Anthony (pictured) to launch the partnership. David and his team of highly trained therapeutic practitioners at the Baxter Project use companion animals and walking as a way of engaging and building relationships with young people. The Baxter Project has a successful history of working across South Wales and TACT Cymru is really excited to be working with the programme for the benefit of the children and young people living with our foster carers.
