TACT carer in Living North

One of our TACT Yorkshire foster carers, appear in Living North magazine (online) today, 9th June, and share their experience of fostering with TACT.

The Yorkshire foster mum talks about the rewards of caring for siblings, saying, “‘Staying together, they draw on each other for emotional support and comfort during a difficult time. It gives them the sense of familiarity and security needed to feel more at ease in their new living situation. I can’t imagine how it must feel to be removed from home and then separated from your siblings”.

She gives recognition to the role her birth son has played.

“My son Arthur has been a huge support to me on my fostering journey. He is only eight but has shared his home and mum generously”.
