TACT foster carer Yasmin’s story has been featured in Living North magazine, to mark Refugee Week 2023. Yasmin shares her experiences of looking after unaccompanied asylum seeking children.
The theme for Refugee Week 2023 is compassion and Yasmin says, “We need to show compassion for the family and social relationships they left behind while creating opportunities for them to build connections within a stable household or community”.
