Kings of Gospel Charity Summer Ball, on Saturday 10th June, was organised by Greater Heights, in association with TACT South London foster carers and staff, to raise awareness of TACT and much needed funds for enriching opportunities and activities for children and young people in the London and South-East area. A total of £1029.50 was raised.

Hailed “fabulous” by Deputy Area Manager, Jo Bird, the evening brought together members of the community, TACT foster carers, staff as well as Trustees Matthew Doyle and Paul Anderson.

Matthew said, “It was a great event and we really enjoyed meeting everyone.  What a wonderful group of people whose commitment to improving the lives of kids is an inspiration”.

Matthew was among the raffle winners, and kindly donated his prize to the London and Southeast team.

Priscilla Makambe, Interim Area Manager, said, “We felt very honoured to be part of an event where the fundraisers had a real passion to celebrate fostering and inspire others to become foster carers”.

Dazzling performances came from prominent gospel reggae artists Barry Boom, Joshua Kesler and Jay Jay Born2Sing, as well as stand-up comedy from award winning A Dot Comedian.
