Gilli’s Spinathon For Young People!

Author: TACT Fostering

A TACT member of staff has organised a charity ‘Spinathon’ to raise money for young people!

Gilli Clements, who has worked for TACT since 2019, wanted to use her passion for fitness and healthy living to go that extra mile (albeit on a static bike!) to raise additional funds for our young people: “I am very proud to work for such a lovely organisation. I value all that TACT does, not only to provide loving homes for our children, but all it does to support our carers and staff, whilst also endeavouring to do yet more to develop our services and create better lives for children, young people, and care experienced adults.

“I have been wondering what else I could personally do to put a big smile on our children’s faces. It then recently came to me that I could put my joy of fitness to good use by organising a charity fundraiser.

“I wanted to give something back, and if I can do a little something to add happiness and see smiling faces, then that makes me happy. We can all do something for others!”

You can sign up for the event itself (or you can make a donation). The aim of the fundraiser is to provide a party or some form of surprise for our young people!

Good luck Gilli – we’re all behind you!
