Two siblings from Aberdare have raised £1132.42 by climbing Mount Snowdon for TACT Cymru.

Elisha (10) and Ethan (8), together with their foster mum Joy and family undertook a challenge of climbing the highest mountain in Wales in July and continued fundraising until the end of October.

They were congratulated by TACT Area Manager for West Wales Mike Anthony who thanked Joy and the children in a special cheque presentation held on 1st November.

The young mountain walkers have been climbing and fundraising for 5 years in total now after starting with Pen y fan in Wales. They’ve already started planning a challenge for next summer – climbing Ben Nevis!
