The TACT London and Southeast (LSE) team held their annual summer barbeque on Thursday 3rd August for staff, carers and children to have fun and celebrate each other’s achievements of the last year.  Some of our foster carers received long service awards for 20 years’ fostering children for TACT. Awards were also made to the carer and children who helped fundraise for the 2023 roster of young people’s events.

The event was organised by TACT staff and had a festive atmosphere with music, face painters, entertainers and children singing Karaoke and playing football.

The event was supported by attended by TACT CEO, Andy Elvin (pictured) and Chair of Trustees, Matthew

Andy said, “It was really lovely to see so many of our fabulous South London carers and our amazing children at the excellent South London BBQ. It was a sunny day and great to catch up with carers old and new and hear about the brilliant achievements of our children and young people”.

Each child, including birth children and grandchildren of the carers, that attended the event, received a certificate and trophy  of achievement, presented by Matthew  Doyle.
