Job Title - Senior Portfolio Officer

Pay - £33,688 per annum + £750 per annum homeworking allowance + £3,777 per annum London Weighting allowance (if living in a London borough)

Hours - 35 Hours per Week

Contract - Fixed Term Contract - 12 months 

Location – Home based with some travel required

The Senior Portfolio Officer will be responsible for ensuring the success of TACT's projects and change initiatives. The successful candidate will take a pan-organisation view of all projects and other change activities and seek to ensure that the organisation’s leaders have timely, complete, relevant and accurate information on the status of change activities and early insights into potential issues and opportunities.

Whilst being homebased, the Senior Portfolio Officer will be required to travel for team meetings, training and other in person events. 

This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months.

The main role requirements for this role include:

  • Demonstrable experience of running Portfolio management including planning and prioritisation in a PMO capacity. 
  • Experience of running Change Boards on behalf of an organisation
  • An understanding of agile and waterfall project management.
  • Understands how to prioritise portfolios of change.
  • Understands Project controls and governance
  • Capability in appropriate design and mobilisation of Portfolio management in similar environments to TACT.
  • Practical expertise in preparing and using project prioritisation approaches in environments comparable to TACT.
  • Ability to support governance boards.  
  • A disciplined work approach.
  • Assertive and tenacious while remaining calm.
