We are looking for Child Resource Worker with experience of either paid or voluntary participation in advocacy for, or directly supporting, young people to assist the foster care services of our TACT South West team.   Experience of working with the care system would be desirable.

The overall purpose of the Child Resource Worker is to undertake a pivotal multi-agency partnership role with parents, carers, children, young people, local authorities and their social workers.  The duties and tasks undertaken by the Child Resource Worker aim to achieve agreed objectives for excellent care as outlined in the 5 Every Child Matters Outcome Areas in England through the provision of a range of resources which the Child Resource Worker's role will support and to impact positively on the welfare of children.

Due to the nature of the work, the Child Resource Worker will occasionally need to be flexible regarding hours and days of work.  While being based primarily in the Bristol Office, there will be a requirement to travel throughout the South West region according to the needs of our carers, parents and children. An Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for Child Resource Work and will be carried out by TACT on your behalf.
