We are interested in individuals for whom quality of service is paramount and in those who share our commitment to working in partnership with children and their foster carers in the development of the agency.
The overall purpose of this role is to recruit, assess, train and support a diverse range of foster carers and placements.
You will need to be fluent in Welsh, DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualified and registered with the Care Council for Wales. An enhanced disclosure is also required and is requested for you by TACT.

Full time – Permanent Post – 35 Hours per week – £23,400 per annum
The TACT East Midlands team are based in Kettering and are currently looking for a Children’s Resource Worker with experience of voluntary, or paid working with children and young people. The post holder will work closely with looked after children, the birth children of foster carers and foster carers, to achieve excellent care in line with legislative requirements of the 5 Every Child Matters Outcome Areas. This role will involve residential activity weekends and some flexible working.
Experience of working within the “care system” would be desirable.
An enhanced DBS is required for this role and will be undertaken by TACT on your behalf.

We are currently looking for a Panel Vice Chair for our Fostering Panel in the East Midlands area. The East Midlands office is based in Kettering, Northants. The Fostering Panel meet at this office on the third Monday of every month.
We are looking for applicants who live within a 30 mile radius of the Kettering office.
The Panel Vice Chair will be expected to deputise for the Chair when required.
Payment is £150 per panel + mileage. If Panel Vice Chair chairs the Panel then payment is £300 per panel + mileage.
The Panel Vice Chair role is self-employed and a Standard DBS clearance is required, which will be undertaken by TACT on your behalf. You will be required to have professional membership to a social work body if you are currently a practicing social worker.
In line with our values, we expect each panel member to ensure that all decisions are made with regard to the interest of ‘children in care’, foster carers and the community in which they live.

We are looking to recruit a professional to manage caseloads, assess, train and support a diverse range of foster carers, children and young people. You may also be involved in the recruitment of foster carers. The successful candidate will also have a keen interest in Duty / Placement work as you will be expected to cover this on a regular basis.
You will need to be DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualified, with recent experience in childcare, preferably family placement work. Up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legislation is essential, as is an enhanced DBS clearance and HCPC membership.
