Senior Policy and Research Advisor

Part Time - 21 Hours Per Week (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Salary - £29,700 per annum pro rata + London Weighting

Office or Home Based - Hither Green, London SE13 6TJ

Working in fourteen offices across England, Wales and Scotland, TACT (The Adolescent and Children's Trust) are dedicated to providing creative, effective and outcome-focussed services for children, young people and families. We are also a campaigning children’s charity seeking to influence public policy affecting children in care across the UK.

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to join the UK's largest dedicated fostering and adoption charity. TACT play a key role in shaping policy at local and national level and work closely with our adopters, foster carers, children and young people to amplify their voices and views to local and central government. The post holder will work directly to TACT's CEO and will lead on all policy work.

We are looking for a team player who is educated to graduate level or with experience demonstrating equivalent ability. The ideal candidate will also have a familiarity with research methods and techniques and an understanding of issues or policy affecting children in care.
