Permanent Part-Time (17.5 hours)

Home based but must be able to travel and have access to a car

Required weekdays, evenings and weekends

Areas covered: 1 vacancy for East Scotland + 1 vacancy for West Scotland

Rate of Pay: £12,150 per anum (FTE)

TACT Scotland is recruiting two Children’s Resource Workers who can support TACT in offering a range of services which impact positively on the welfare of children and are in line with the 7 Core Aims for Children. As part of this work, workers will need to work closely with looked after children, the birth children of foster carers and foster carers to achieve agreed objectives for excellent care as outlined in Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC).

We have two vacancies, one to cover East Scotland and the other to cover West Scotland.

To be successful as a Child Resource Worker you should have the following experience:

  • Work in a social care health or education setting.
  • Work within a culturally diverse setting.
  • Unsupervised work with children/young people.
