The objective for the Fostering Deputy Area Manager will be to support the development of a new office in the South Coast area (Bournemouth). You will be part of TACT's South West service, rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted. The Fostering Deputy Area Manager will be home based and line managed by the Area Manager who is based in our Bristol office. The Fostering Deputy Area Manager will supervise one Social Worker in our Bournemouth office and will lead on developing training and therapeutic support for our foster carers in Bournemouth and the surrounding area. To be considered for the role of Fostering Deputy Area Manager, you will need to have experience of working with children and young people in a statutory setting and have a management qualification.  You will also need to be HCPC registered and have a DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualification.  An Enhanced DBS clearance is required, and will be undertaken by TACT on your behalf.  The use of a car is essential.

You will be required to work an out of hours rota, attracting an additional allowance of £1,500 per annum.
