Fixed Term Contract Until September 2019

This role is a fixed term post until the end of September 2019, to support the management of the South West Service based in Bristol whilst they develop a new office in the South Coast area (Bournemouth). Whilst the post will be based at the TACT office in Bristol, the applicant will be required to travel, and the role may involve the occasional overnight stay. The successful applicant will be joining a fostering service that was recently judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted.  You will supervise Social Work staff and non-qualified staff, carry a small caseload of foster carers, organise training for foster carers and support the Area Manager in monitoring the work of the service.

To be considered, you will need to have experience of working with children and young people in a statutory setting and have a management qualification.  You will also need to be HCPC registered and have a DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualification.  An Enhanced DBS clearance is required, and this check will be undertaken by TACT on your behalf.  The use of a car is essential.

You will be required to work an out of hours rota, attracting an additional allowance of £1,500 per annum.
