Working in Partnership
TACT believes that in order to deliver the best possible services for young people, it is often best to work in partnership with other organisations. We work with local authorities across the country and have also formed partnerships with several other charities so that we can offer excellent, innovative projects.
Shaftesbury Young People
In October 2006 we launched a Strategic Partnership with Shaftesbury Young People. The two organisations deliver complementary services and have now made a committment to join up these services wherever young people need them. This began with the Residential to Fostering project.
The Grandparents Association
We have been awarded a grant from Futurebuilders to set up a kinship care project with The Grandparents Association. We are also running a joint conference between The Grandparents Association and Children Law UK.
Fostering Through Social Enterprise
TACT is the lead founder of this group of not-for-profit organisaitons who meet regularly to share values and expertise in foster care.
