Every Child Matters
TACT in Engand follows the governmental agenda set in the Every Child Matters. The Adolescent and Children’s Trust believes strongly in the agenda for change that is driving improved outcomes for children and young people and setting challenging aspirations and expectations for all the adults, carers and professional staff involved in the care of looked after children.
This is reflected in our commitment to improve the quality of our services through our offices through our inspection scores as well as doing more detailed internal work on our own outcome monitoring and setting ourselves our own challenging targets for young people’s education, employment, training and health. We are also keen to demonstrate this through achieving other recognised external standards, recently being granted the Customer Service Excellence accreditation, the first adoption and fostering service in the country to receive this.
