North West
TACT North West was set up in 2003 from a single office in South Liverpool and a staff team of two. Since that time the office has expanded and we have moved to larger premises in the Tuebrook area of the City and now have a staff team of nine. TACT North West covers the whole of the North West region, from Cheshire up to Carlisle taking in the Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Merseyside Authorities.

- Provide quality placements to local authorities
- Encourage carer development through ongoing supervision, support and training
- Provide emergency and out-of-hours support
- Run Carer's Support Groups
- Run Children Who Foster Groups
- Run children’s activity days
Foster carer recruitment
This year we will be expanding into North Lancashire and Cumbria and are keen to recruit carer households in these regions. Our carers come from a diverse range of social and cultural backgrounds as do the children that we place.
