Family Ties

Since joining together with Parents for Children (PfC), a voluntary adoption agency specialising in finding adoptive families for children with profound emotional and/or physical disabilities in February 2009, Family Ties is now part of The Adolescent and Children's Trust (TACT). Family Ties was formerly known as the Phyllis Holman Richards Adoption Society, and, originally, the Memorial Centre of Help for Babies, it was active from around 1942 to 1998.

Family Ties is part of TACT's Post Adoption Support Services. It is a service dedicated to support adopted adults, birth relatives or adopted parents regarding adoptions arranged by Family Ties and previous adoption agencies.
