Children's Champions
We want to make sure that we listen to you and that we fully involve you in what happens within TACT. In order to do this each of our offices has a Social Worker or Children’s Resource Worker who has a particular responsibility for children and young people.
The role of the Children's Champions
All the 'champions' meet together with some of our young people regularly. We have agreed the work we want to do over the year so the group helps to make sure it all happens. Our current work includes:
-
Improving our communication with young peopleMaking sure this new website has a good young people’s sectionUpdating all our children’s materials on complaintsUpdating our leaving care information, our "Next Step" guide
