TACT foster carers Rob and Bob celebrate wedding with sibling foster children.

Same sex couple Rob and Bob, are among some of the great successes TACT has in terms of fostering sibling groups. In 2015, just a few months after being approved to foster, they welcomed three siblings, now aged 13, 12 and 10, into their home.

Going from zero children to three was obviously a major learning curve for them, but they coped well, and they have now become a happy, thriving family, with Rob and Bob given approval last year to permanently foster them.  The couple recently married and chose the two brothers to be best men and their sister a bridesmaid at the ceremony.

We desperately need more carers for sibling groups, it is so important for brothers and sisters to remain together.  If you would like to find out more click here or call 0330 123 2250

To mark LGBT fostering and adoption week Rob and Bob shared their fostering story with the Liverpool Echo and the Mirror.
