TACT named as Sunday Times 100 Best Company
1 March 2010
The Adolescent and Children's Trust (TACT) is delighted to be named as one of ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies To Work For 2010'.
The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies is now in its tenth year. The award assesses employees' views of their workplace. Staff award scores for their employer in areas such as leadership, personal growth and wellbeing.
Upon receiving the award, TACT Chief Executive, Kevin Williams, said:
"We often hear negative and often unfair stories about the social work profession, so we're particularly delighted to be named as a Times Best 100 employer. A fulfilled and motivated workforce ensures our foster carers and adoptive families are well supported. This means better outcomes for the young people they look after."
Kevin Williams and TACT representatives received the award at a celebration event on Wednesday 24 February 2010.
